About GreenStalk 5-Tier Vertical Planter

Grow more in less space by growing up. The GreenStalk 5-Tier Vertical Planter makes it easy to grow up to 30 plants in just 2 square feet. Whether you’re short on space or want to maximize your harvest, this patented, soil-based system helps you turn any patio, balcony, or backyard into a thriving garden.

Durable, food-safe, and made in the USA. Crafted in East Tennessee from high-quality, food-grade, UV-resistant plastic that’s BPA, BPS, and PVC-free. Sturdy, built to last outdoors, and backed by a 5-year warranty for peace of mind.

Effortless watering with a patented design. Just fill the top water reservoir and let the planter do the rest of the work. Its patented watering system distributes the right amount of water to each tier to keep every plant hydrated from top to bottom.

Room to grow almost anything. With 10” deep pockets, you can plant herbs, leafy greens, strawberries, peppers, flowers, even root vegetables. A fully planted system weighs about 150 lbs, so it won’t tip over in the breeze.

Pair it with the GreenStalk Spinning Base, sold separately.

FAQ

Q: What plants are best for the GreenStalk 5 Tier Vertical Planter?

A: There are very few types of plants that aren't good in the GreenStalk at all -- you can't grow 2' long Daikon radishes in them, for instance! But a wide array of vegetables, strawberries, flowers and herbs grow well in the GreenStalk Vertical Planter.

Q: How much soil do I need?

A: Each Original Tier holds 1 cubic foot of potting mix (about 8 gallons/30.3 liters). Each Leaf Tier holds 0.8 cubic feet of potting mix (about 6 gallons/22.7 liters).

Q: Can the GreenStalk Vertical Planter be used indoors?
A: Our planters can be used indoors. We recommend adding grow lights based on your growing environment, and adding a GreenStalk Mover or Ultimate Spinner would be a necessity for ensuring water doesn't drain out onto the floor. Please note that water cannot be held for an extended amount of time in either GreenStalk Base and should be allowed to drain into another container.

    Love my GreenStalks

I was really skeptical about buying a GreenStalk because they are not cheap and I didn't "need" one. Well, now I own 21 of them. Gardening is so much easier on my back with vertical growing. I set up my first GreenStalk before having major surgery and I was able to maintain the plants and even add more GreenStalks during my recovery from multiple surgeries that summer. They do dry out quickly in the Florida heat if I am not careful but they have absolutely transformed how I am able to grow food for my family despite my physical limitations.

    Perfect for French strawberries

Having never been a gardener, I’ve decided to give it a try. I saw this tower on YouTube, and got it to try growing French strawberries. It works really well! The watering system is genius and worked all summer long, even with the historically hot summer we had in San Diego.

    Great gift

I got this for my mother in law and set it up for her. She is very pleased with the 5-tier planter and very easy to pick fruit and flowers.
